Polyvinyl chloride film is made of polyvinyl chloride resin and other modifiers through calendering or blow molding. The general thickness is 0.08~0.2 mm, and those greater than 0.25 mm are called PVC sheets. Functional processing aids such as plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, etc. are added to the PVC resin and calendered into a film. This kind of greenhouse film has good thermal insulation and light transmittance, is soft and easy to shape, and is suitable as an external covering material for greenhouses, greenhouses and small and medium-sized greenhouses. The disadvantages are: the film has a low specific gravity and a high cost; poor weather resistance, hardens and becomes brittle at low temperatures, and is easy to soften and relax at high temperatures; after the additives are precipitated, the film surface absorbs dust, affecting light transmittance; the residual film cannot be degraded or burned.
The general composition of polyvinyl chloride film is:
PVC resin!40%~70%
Plasticizer!10%~50%
Stabilizer!1%~10%
Filler!1%~30%
Colorant!1%~10%
Polyvinyl chloride film can be roughly divided into two categories, one is plasticized PVC film, also known as soft PVC film (Plasticized PVC Film), and the other is unplasticized PVC film, also known as hard PVC film.
Hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, and soft PVC accounts for 1/3. Soft PVC is generally used for floors, ceilings and leather surfaces, but because soft PVC contains softeners (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), it is easy to become brittle and difficult to preserve, so its scope of use is limited. Hard PVC does not contain softener, so it has good flexibility, is easy to form, is not easy to be brittle, is non-toxic and pollution-free, and has a long shelf life, so it has great development and application value. The essence of PVC film is a vacuum blister film, which is used for the surface packaging of various panels, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film. It is used in many industries such as building materials, packaging, and medicine. Among them, the building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion, which is 60%, followed by the packaging industry, and there are several other industries with small-scale applications.
The production process of PVC film is not complicated. The ordinary production line is generally composed of a roller press, a printing machine, a back coating machine, and a cutting machine. It mainly produces a film with a thickness of only 0.3mm to 0.7mm through the direct stirring of the roller press, the rotation of the roller, and the high-temperature rolling. At the same time, the front of the film is printed with a pattern through a printing machine, and a back coating is attached to the back of the film through a back coating machine. Don't underestimate this back coating, it is an important guarantee for the high-quality performance of the PVC film. The back coating is made of special materials and is a high-energy affinity agent. It is because of this back coating that the PVC film can be tightly integrated with the medium-density board or other boards, and will not debond for ten or even fifteen years. The biggest problem with ordinary veneer films is that they cannot solve the problem of film shedding. Since the entire production process is carried out at high temperature (the temperature in the roller press reaches 220 degrees), the PVC film has high light resistance and fire resistance, ensuring the high quality of the PVC film. Of course, this places high demands on the production machinery. Usually, the cost of production equipment for a set of production lines is about 39 million marks, equivalent to about 160 million yuan. But on the other hand, the production process of PVC film is quite simple, and the machine output is also very large, so from a comprehensive perspective, PVC film is actually a low-input, high-yield product.
Polyvinyl chloride films are insoluble in water, alcohol, and gasoline. They can swell or dissolve in ether, ketones, chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. At room temperature, they are resistant to concentrated hydrochloric acid, 90% sulfuric acid, 50%-60% nitric acid, and 20% or less caustic soda solution.
Generally, it is used in the electrical field in the largest amount, that is, electrical adhesive tape. According to its characteristics, it can also be used for protective adhesive tape, luggage adhesive tape, logo adhesive tape, advertising stickers, pipeline adhesive tape, etc. It is also widely used in daily life, such as footwear, toys, raincoats, tablecloths, umbrellas, agricultural films, etc.
A. Ordinary PVC greenhouse film: no anti-aging additives are added during the film making process, the service life is 4-6 months, and one season of crops can be produced. It is currently being gradually eliminated.
B. PVC anti-aging film: anti-aging additives are added to the raw materials and calendered into film. The effective service life is 8-10 months, with good light transmittance, heat preservation and weather resistance.
C. PVC decorative material: It has anti-aging and dripping properties, good light transmittance and heat preservation. The drip-free property can be maintained for 4-6 months, and the safe service life is up to 12-18 months. It is widely used and is currently the most efficient and energy-saving solar greenhouse covering material.
D. PVC weather-resistant and drip-free dust-proof film: In addition to the weather-resistant and drip-free properties, the film surface has been treated, the amount of plasticizer precipitation is small, the dust absorption is less, the light transmittance is improved, and it is more beneficial for winter and spring cultivation in solar greenhouses.
E. PVC trees can also be used as ground films. Adding a certain amount of masterbatch can produce greenhouse films of various colors.
F. PVC foil plastic, metal, transparent film non-paper packaging: plastic packaging, wooden packaging, metal packaging.
