Zhejiang: Disposable consumer goods restricted from December 31
Qianjiang Evening News yesterday, 10 departments including the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Household waste Classification Leading Group jointly issued a notice to restrict disposable consumer products in the administrative areas of the province since December 31, 2019.
The disposable consumer goods referred to here refer to the disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, bath solution, slippers and tableware and other supplies provided by accommodation, catering and other service units to consumers, as well as the disposable paper cups used by party and government organs, state-owned enterprises and institutions. The "Notice" requires that from December 31, 2019, four-star and above hotels (hotels) in Zhejiang Province will promote the non-initiative to provide disposable consumer goods, and gradually extend to other hotels (hotels) and places that provide accommodation services such as homestays and farmhouse music.
At the same time, in the province's party and government organs and state-owned enterprises and institutions, the canteen promotion does not take the initiative to provide disposable chopsticks, spoons and other tableware, and gradually extended to other restaurants, restaurants, fast food restaurants, farmhouse and other places that provide catering services.
Accommodation, catering and other service units should provide consumers with alternative supplies that meet health standards and can be reused, encourage the use of degradable and recyclable green products, advocate consumers to bring their own water cup catering, reduce the use of disposable paper cups, and bring their own toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, bath solution, slippers.
The use of degradable disposable tableware and other degradable disposable plastic products and their composite products in accordance with relevant regulations. Encourage accommodation, catering and other service units to use the income from the paid provision of disposable consumer products for public welfare undertakings.
Standardize the use of plastic bags, reduce the use of disposable plastic bags, and vigorously promote the use of vegetable baskets and cloth bags in supermarkets, farmers' markets and other places. We will increase the use of new recyclable logistics facilities, promote standard pallets and recyclable express boxes, and speed up the elimination of disposable plastic woven bags.
