The relevant person in charge of the State Administration said that garbage classification is the basis for waste reduction, resource utilization and harmless treatment. Public institutions, especially party and government organs, take the lead in practicing household garbage classification, which has an important demonstration and leading role in creating a good atmosphere for garbage classification in the whole society and promoting the general implementation of garbage classification in the whole society.

According to the requirements of the notice issued by the five departments, the energy conservation management department of public institutions at all levels should establish the target responsibility system of garbage classification work, incorporate the garbage classification work into the supervision and assessment, demonstration and creation of content, establish an incentive and constraint mechanism, promptly summarize and promote the good experience and good practices of garbage classification work, and regularly inform the garbage classification work.
