LED injection module

LED injection molding modules are components composed of SMD LED lamp beads mounted on PCB and then pressed out by injection molding machines. There are mainly 5050, 3528, 5630 and other models.

Product Features

Common injection molding modules have the following features:

1. It can present seven colors, including red, blue, purple, green, yellow, cyan and white, and seven-color jump, seven-color gradient, seven-color jump, seven-color gradient and other effects;

2. The light source uses TOP5050led, which has no light spot, low light decay and good consistency;

3. The product has low power consumption, high brightness, long service life and maintenance-free;

4. The shell adopts injection molding technology, with beautiful and unique appearance and good heat dissipation effect;

5. The waterproof grade can reach IP65 or above;

6. Low voltage input, safe and reliable to use;

7. The module has 20 units in a string, and the LED adopts a series-parallel hybrid circuit, and a single module can be cut off.

Application Scope

LED injection molding module is a kind of LED module. Compared with other types of modules, it has a wider range of uses due to its large luminous angle, high brightness, and low light decay.

1. Advertising signs, lighting signs, (ultra-thin) light boxes, three-dimensional luminous characters, Vacuum Forming characters, other advertising lighting, etc.

2. Hotels, KTVs, shopping malls, entertainment cities, indoor (dark groove) and exterior wall lighting, landscape layout, stage decoration, city lighting, etc.

3. Local decorative lighting for home shoe cabinets, wardrobes, ceiling dark grids, exhibition halls, art halls, museums, offices, reading rooms, etc.

Installation features

The first step: calculate the total power of the module, so as to configure the appropriate LED switching power supply (the power supply should be configured with 80% power output).

Total power consumption = number of modules ¡Á power consumption of a single module

For example: 300 three-lamp 3528 SMD modules, the rated power consumption is 300¡Á0.25=75W

Step 2: Fix the module

Module fixing method:

1. Use double-sided tape on the back of the plastic shell for preliminary fixing, and then use glass glue to assist fixing.

2. Use glass glue to fix directly; the surface of the module should be wiped clean or properly polished before installation to ensure that the contact surface is clean.

3. Use screws to fix the bottom of the plastic shell.

Step 3: Connect the power supply

After all modules are installed, 0.75mm or 18AWG wires can be used to connect the power supply. The distance between the power supply and the module should be within 5 meters. If the font is large, the power supply can be built-in without affecting the heat dissipation of the module.

Installation precautions:

1. Pay attention to waterproof measures for LED dedicated switching power supplies.

2. The switching power supply should adjust the output voltage according to the characteristics of the LED module. Do not rotate the voltage adjustment button at will during use!

3. All modules of our company are low-voltage products. 220V AC is not applicable, so the shorter the power cord, the better.

4. There are positive and negative poles in the LED module. Pay attention to the correspondence of the positive and negative poles during installation. If the positive and negative poles are connected in reverse, the module will not emit light, but it will not damage the LED module. Just change the connection. The voltage cannot be adjusted up or down!

5. During the installation of the LED module, it is required to use double-sided tape or wood glue to firmly stick the module slot to the Vacuum Forming base. When using double-sided tape, you must apply glass glue, otherwise the module will fall off under long-term outdoor sunlight. This is very important!

6. When installing LED modules in Vacuum Forming letters or boxes, try to form as many loops as possible, and the number of module series groups should be as small as possible, not more than 40 groups, and the colorful series should not exceed 20 groups, otherwise it will be affected by voltage drop, and it is very likely that a single current will be too large to burn the circuit board!

7. When LED modules that have not been waterproofed are installed in Vacuum Forming letters or boxes, rainwater should be prevented from entering.

8. The spacing of LED modules can be adjusted according to actual conditions such as brightness and module size. The number per square is generally between 50-100 groups. When arranging LED modules, attention should be paid to the uniformity of light emission and brightness requirements; the distance between the module and the edge of the font is generally 2-5 cm, and the vertical and horizontal distance between modules is recommended to be 2-6CM. When installing the LED module, do not push or squeeze the components on the module to avoid damaging the components. The connecting wires inside should be fixed to the floor with glass glue to avoid shading.

9. The distance between the LED module and the surface of the light source should be well controlled to ensure the uniformity and brightness of the light, so the thickness of the light box is also very important.
