Plastic lunch boxes are plastic containers made of food-grade plastic materials for the convenience of taking food out. It is a common household plastic product in our daily life and an indispensable plastic container for picnics or hiking.
Plastic lunch boxes are also available in a variety of styles and sizes. Square plastic lunch boxes can be used to store various seasonings. Rectangular plastic lunch boxes are easy to store watery foods, such as fruits, vegetables and seafood. Round plastic lunch boxes are suitable for storing sauces, sauces and various side dishes.
¢± Raw materials for plastic lunch boxes: As consumers pay more and more attention to health, people are concerned about whether the materials used in plastic lunch boxes themselves are healthy. Sanitary and safe materials are harmless to the human body, such as PC materials, PE materials and PP materials, etc. The more common plastic lunch box materials are PP materials.
2. Microwave heating: Plastic lunch boxes can heat food directly in the microwave, which is more convenient.
3. Appearance of plastic lunch box: Plastic lunch boxes with excellent quality have a glossy appearance, beautiful design and no burrs.
4. Heat resistance: Plastic lunch boxes have high requirements for heat resistance. They will not deform in high-temperature water and can even be sterilized in boiling water.
5. Durability: Plastic lunch boxes must have excellent impact resistance, and will not break easily under heavy pressure or impact, and will not leave scratches.
Different shapes store different things, which is more convenient to use. In addition to the common square, rectangular and round shapes, there are also sets designed for picnics, etc., which make life simpler and more convenient.
Square plastic lunch boxes: suitable for storing various condiments, leftovers, leftover canned food, fruits and vegetables.
Rectangular plastic lunch boxes: suitable for storing bacon and meat. Large-capacity rectangular plastic lunch boxes are suitable for storing fruits, vegetables and seafood.
Round plastic lunch box: suitable for storing various condiments, canned fruits, grains, nuts, tea and other foods,
¢±Ordinary plastic lunch boxes cannot be put into microwave ovens and ovens, because plastics will produce substances harmful to the human body at high temperatures. If you often use microwave ovens for cooking, it is best to use plastic lunch boxes made of polycarbonate (PC); if you use a high temperature of about 70 degrees for continuous sterilization and washing, please do not exceed 20 to 30 minutes. The high-temperature part of an ordinary dishwasher is at the bottom, and the upper part is relatively indirectly heated, so it is better to wash it in the upper part of the dishwasher. Although plastic products made of polypropylene have a high heat resistance temperature, if they are heated for a long time, the product will deform and be elongated. Therefore, after washing, if you want to use it immediately, please soak the plastic lunch box in cold water before using it. This is a good way to prevent deformation. In addition, tempered glass plastic lunch boxes may explode when encountering extreme cold and extreme heat.
¢²Different foods have different storage times. Do not rely solely on the sealing ability of plastic lunch boxes. They should be eaten as soon as possible. PP (polypropylene) plastic lunch boxes can be heated for a short time when used in a microwave oven, but they cannot be used as cooking containers in a microwave oven. (When heating and thawing for a short time, the time should not exceed 3 minutes.)
¢³When putting it in the microwave oven, you must first loosen the lid joint device before using it. If you use it after locking the lid, the plastic lunch box will deform or burst due to pressure. When used in a microwave oven, if the food contains more oil and sugar, the plastic lunch box will deform when the temperature rises rapidly.
¢´When cleaning the plastic lunch box, use a softer sponge and do not use a hard dishcloth to avoid scratches and discoloration of the plastic lunch box. When cleaning the silicone resin gasket between the lid and the container, please do not stretch it hard, otherwise it will break or lengthen.
¢µScalding hot food will cause the air to expand and reduce the sealing performance of the plastic lunch box, so you should wait until the food cools down before storing it. The bubbles of carbonated drinks (soda, cola, etc.) will cause the plastic lunch box to lose its sealing ability. Please do not store it in a plastic lunch box.
Plastic lunch boxes are made of polystyrene. Due to the characteristics of the material itself, there are still many things to pay attention to when using it after the ban is lifted. Polystyrene is flammable, and fire prevention should be considered when storing disposable foamed plastic tableware, and it should be clearly stated in the product packaging instructions. In addition, polystyrene has poor heat resistance and will deform and release harmful low-molecular substances when it exceeds 70¡ãC.
It should be known that plastic lunch boxes are not absolutely safe, especially when containing oily foods or using microwave ovens for heating, unpolymerized styrene monomers will enter the human body with food, causing human poisoning. Styrene monomers are insoluble in water, but soluble in alcohol solutions and ether solutions. When the concentration is high, it can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, general fatigue and other symptoms. In severe cases, death from suffocation may occur. Chronic styrene poisoning manifests as neurasthenia, headache, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, forgetfulness, finger tremors, and even renal failure.
¢± The bubbles of carbonated beverages (soda, cola, etc.) will cause the plastic lunch box to lose its sealing ability. Bubbling food, fermented food, hot food, etc. will reduce the sealing performance of the plastic lunch box. Please try to avoid storing such food in plastic lunch boxes.
¢² When used in a microwave oven, if the food contains more oil and sugar, the plastic lunch box will deform when the temperature rises rapidly. Therefore, it is best to use a microwave oven box to heat the above foods.
