I. Product introduction

Polypropylene anti-corrosion adhesive tape is a new type of pollution-free, harmless and environmentally friendly anti-corrosion product, representing the highest level of cold-wrap anti-corrosion tape in the world and China today, and has the reputation of "the crown of anti-corrosion". The base material of this product is a unique modified polypropylene woven fiber cloth, and butyl rubber modified asphalt is used as the anti-corrosion adhesive layer. Its base material is a fiber structure that can effectively resist creep damage caused by soil stress. The aging test shows that its corrosion resistance life is more than 50 years. The various test indicators are much higher than the requirements of SY/T0414-98 standard, and fully meet the indicators of ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95 in the United States. It is the best choice for pipeline cold anti-corrosion construction tapes and the most economical choice for anti-corrosion.

III. Usage

(1) Surface treatment of steel pipes: remove rust, welding slag, burrs, oil, dirt and keep them clean and dry. Manual rust removal should reach St3 level, mechanical rust removal should reach Sa2 level and meet the requirements of SYJ4007-8 6.

(2) Primer: Use a special matching primer, keep away from fire when using, stir evenly and apply evenly with a clean brush, roller or other mechanical methods. Primer dosage: 12©O/L for manual application and 20©O/L for mechanical application

(3) Wait until the primer is dry (usually after 5 to 10 minutes) before wrapping the tape.

(4) Backfilling the trench: After passing the quality inspection and acceptance, the trench can be filled.

IV. Transportation and storage

(1) During transportation, the tape should be protected from exposure to sunlight, rain, and crushing and deformation.

(2) When it is subjected to freezing below 5¡æ during transportation or storage, it must be stored at around 20¡æ for 48 hours before construction can begin.

(3) It should be stored in a cool warehouse with a temperature of 5-30¡æ and a temperature of <75¡æ. The storage period is 12 months and it should be kept away from heat sources and open flames.
