PP Vacuum Forming, as the name implies, is a Vacuum Forming product (Vacuum Forming tray, Vacuum Forming box) made by vacuum Vacuum Forming molding of PP sheet.
PP sheet is made of polypropylene resin as the main raw material, adding various process masterbatches, toughening agents and brighteners, and is made through mixing, plasticizing extrusion, three-roll calendering, cooling, traction and winding. PP sheet has the characteristics of non-toxicity, tastelessness, hygiene, high mechanical strength and good barrier properties, and can be used for packaging in industries such as industry, agriculture, and fruit. The tray made of PP anti-slip sheet has a smooth and beautiful surface and is very popular among users. PP sheet is also suitable for the packaging of highly cold-resistant frozen foods, such as ice cream boxes, dumpling boxes, and glutinous rice balls boxes.
PP Vacuum Forming has the characteristics of environmental protection, beautiful appearance, screen printing, offset printing, hot stamping, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, high transparency, easy to bend and fold, the product meets food testing standards (or not), and can be microwaved.
Disadvantages of PP: low dimensional accuracy, insufficient rigidity, poor weather resistance, easy to produce "copper damage", it has post-shrinkage phenomenon, easy to age, become brittle, and deform after demoulding.
PP Vacuum Forming is mainly used for food packaging, such as: disposable lunch boxes, fruit and vegetable trays, moon cake trays, food trays, etc.
