PVC characters refer to advertising decorative characters made of PVC, which is a kind of advertising decorative material.
PVC, the main component is polyvinyl chloride, and other ingredients are added to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility, etc.
The top layer of this surface film is paint, the main component in the middle is polyvinyl chloride, and the bottom layer is back-coated adhesive.
It is a synthetic material widely used in the world today. Its global usage ranks second among various synthetic materials. According to statistics, in 1995 alone, the production of PVC in Europe was about 5 million tons, and its consumption was 5.3 million tons. In Germany, the production and consumption of PVC averaged 1.4 million tons. PVC is being produced and used worldwide at a growth rate of 4%.
In recent years, the growth rate of PVC in Southeast Asia has been particularly significant, thanks to the urgent need for infrastructure construction in Southeast Asian countries. Among the materials that can produce three-dimensional surface films, PVC is the most suitable material.
PVC is actually a vinyl polymer. It is divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. Among them, hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, and soft PVC accounts for 1/3.
Soft PVC is generally used for floors, ceilings and leather surfaces, but because soft PVC contains softeners (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), it is easy to become brittle and difficult to preserve, so its scope of use is limited. Hard PVC does not contain softeners, so it has good flexibility, easy to shape, not easy to be brittle, non-toxic and pollution-free, and has a long shelf life, so it has great development and application value.
The essence of PVC is a vacuum blister film, which is used for the surface packaging of various panels, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film, and is used in many industries such as building materials, packaging, and medicine. Among them, the building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion of 60%; followed by the packaging industry, and there are several other small-scale application industries.
PVC is polyvinyl chloride plastic, bright color, corrosion resistance, firm and durable. Because some toxic auxiliary materials such as plasticizers and anti-aging agents are added during the manufacturing process, its products generally do not store food and medicine.
1. Lightweight, heat-insulating, heat-preserving, moisture-proof, flame-retardant, acid-alkali-resistant, and corrosion-resistant.
2. Good stability and dielectric properties, durable, anti-aging, easy to weld and bond.
3. Strong bending strength and impact toughness, and high elongation when broken.
4. It is very easy to process and shape through kneading, mixing, pulling, pelletizing, extrusion or die-casting, which can meet the needs of various profile specifications.
5. Smooth surface, bright color, very decorative, and wide decorative application.
6. Simple construction process and convenient installation.
PVC is the darling of the construction industry in Europe and the United States, and PVC can be seen everywhere in people's daily lives. PVC can not only show the colors of nature, but also the colors of people's imagination. In Germany, 40% of furniture is made of PVC as the surface material. Seeing those natural, colorful, rich and diverse, beautiful patterns, elegant and high-end office desks, bookshelves, sofas, and kitchen cabinets, no one would associate them with the devastated "white garbage" on the streets, let alone think that it is the PVC blister film that gives them such a beautiful coat.
First, PVC has unique properties (rainproof, fire-resistant, anti-static, easy to shape), and second, PVC has the characteristics of low input and high output. So, why does PVC have the above two advantages? Let's find the answer from its production process.
The production process of PVC is not complicated. The ordinary production line is generally composed of a roller press, a printing machine, a back coating machine and a cutting machine. It mainly produces a film with a thickness of only 0.3 mm to 0.7 mm through the direct stirring of the roller press, the rotation of the roller and the high-temperature rolling. At the same time, the front of the film is printed with patterns through a printing machine, and a layer of back coating is attached to the back of the film through a back coating machine. Don't underestimate this back coating, it is an important guarantee for the high-quality performance of PVC film.
The back coating is made of special materials and is a high-energy affinity agent. It is precisely because of this back coating that the PVC film can be tightly integrated with the medium-density board or other boards, and it will not debond for ten or even fifteen years. The biggest problem with ordinary veneer films is that they cannot solve the problem of film shedding. Since the entire production process is carried out at high temperature (the temperature in the roller press reaches 220 degrees), this makes the PVC film highly light-resistant and fire-resistant, ensuring the high quality of the PVC film.
Of course, this places high demands on the production machinery. Usually, the cost of production equipment for a set of production lines is about 39 million marks, equivalent to about 160 million yuan. But on the other hand, the production process of PVC film is quite simple, and the machine output is also very large, so from a comprehensive perspective, PVC is actually a low-input, high-output product.
What else is the difference between PVC film and ordinary adhesive film? Ordinary adhesive films are directly attached to the surface of the board with glue at room temperature, so after one or two years, the film is easy to fall off. The PVC film is pressed onto the surface of the board at a high temperature of 110 degrees using a special vacuum laminating machine, so it is not easy to fall off.
Although the PVC film has excellent quality assurance, some people may say that PVC is a chemical product after all, it is not as good as natural materials, it cannot eliminate toxicity and odor, and it is inevitable to cause harm to the environment. This is not the case. This is because the raw materials used to produce PVC film in Germany are specially refined, and the toxic substances are completely extracted. Therefore, PVC is completely non-toxic and odorless, and has no irritation to human skin or respiratory system. For those who are allergic to wood and paint, furniture or kitchenware packaged with PVC film is very suitable. By using PVC film as a decorative film, people can use medium-density boards, particle boards, plywood and fiberboards in large quantities to reduce the amount of wood used.
