1. Introduction:
Special tape for polyethylene pipe anticorrosion is also called reinforced polyethylene anticorrosion tape, modified asphalt tape, polyethylene anticorrosion tape, PE anticorrosion tape, cold wrap tape. Due to its patching, anticorrosion and protection are integrated, it is also called polyethylene anticorrosion integrated tape.
2. Composition:
The base material is polyethylene base material + butyl rubber modified asphalt + isolation membrane
3. Promotion and application:
It is mainly used for the outer surface anticorrosion of buried steel pipelines such as petroleum and natural gas transmission; chemical industry, water supply and drainage in urban construction, and gas transportation. Because the adhesive layer of this tape is relatively thick, it can better resist the shelling phenomenon caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline than polyethylene composite tape, and it is currently used more and more widely.
