Medium vacuum blow molding is a method that uses gas pressure to blow-form a plastic parison in a highly elastic state in the mold cavity. This technology is mainly used to produce various liquid containers, such as bottles, pots, barrels, etc. According to the different ways of making the parison, the hollow blow molding process can be divided into two categories: extrusion-blow molding and injection-blow molding.
The process flow of medium vacuum blow molding includes two steps: first, the parison is made by extrusion or injection, and then it is placed in a mold preheated to a certain temperature for blow molding. Specifically, there are two different forming methods: one is hot billet forming, that is, the freshly prepared hot billet is directly sent into the blow molding mold for blowing; the other is cold billet forming, that is, the cooled billet is first heated again to a highly elastic state, and then placed in the blow molding mold for blow molding. In actual industrial production, the hot billet blow molding method is usually used because this method can improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
