Polyethylene bundle pipe for coal mine

  • Apr 11, 2025

Polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are made of polyethylene particles with antistatic and flame-retardant mining safety characteristics as the main raw materials, and are extruded into semi-rigid polyethylene disruptable pipes (hereinafter referred to as core pipes). Several core pipes are combined together and extruded with an outer sheath (hereinafter referred to as sheath) on the outside.

Introduction to Polyethylene Bundle Pipes for Coal Mines

Polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are made of polyethylene particles with antistatic and flame-retardant mining safety characteristics as the main raw materials, and are extruded into semi-rigid polyethylene disruptable pipes (hereinafter referred to as core pipes). Several core pipes are combined together and extruded with an outer sheath (hereinafter referred to as sheath) on the outside;

Compared with copper pipes and cables, polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines have the characteristics of low cost, good flexibility, convenient construction, acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight, good airtightness, and strong series set-up.

Polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines can be customized in various specifications and lengths according to user requirements, with a maximum length of 5,000 meters. Users can divide them according to their needs during installation;

Purpose of polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines

Polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are mainly used for underground mine bundle pipe monitoring systems for gas sampling and signal transmission for underground mining. They can also be used for low-pressure (below 0.5MPa) nitrogen injection for fire prevention and extinguishing, and are uniformly classified as mining (ZKM).

The use environment of polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines is: temperature -10¡æ~40¡æ; relative humidity 30%~80%; use pressure: positive pressure 0~0.5MPa; vacuum 103-50KPa.

Specifications and models of polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines

Polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are divided according to the purpose of the bundle pipe, the material of the core pipe and sheath, the nominal outer diameter, and the number of cores.

In the specification, ¡õ is a main material--PE, b purpose--mining bundle pipe ZKM, c core pipe outer diameter (mm), d core pipe number (pieces);

Example: PE-ZKM-10¡Á12 means a mining polyethylene bundle pipe with a nominal outer diameter of 10mm and a core pipe number of 12 cores.

The safety characteristics of polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are as follows:

1. Alcohol burner burning time: Flame burning: single maximum ¡Ü10s, 6 arithmetic average ¡Ü3s; Flameless burning: single maximum ¡Ü60s, 6 arithmetic average ¡Ü20s.

2. Surface resistance arithmetic average: ¡Ü1¡Á10 (6) ¦¸. (less than 10 to the sixth power)

Other conventional performance indicators of polyethylene bundle pipes for coal mines are: hydraulic test ¡Ý0.63MPa, tensile strength ¡Ý9.0MPa, elongation at break ¡Ý300%.

High-quality polyethylene bundle pipe for coal mines

Product performance reference:

Tailit polyethylene bundle pipe for coal mines - polyethylene material reaches the flame retardant level after chemical modification, with a maximum value of flame combustion ¡Ü3s; a maximum value of flameless combustion ¡Ü1.5s; arithmetic mean of surface resistance: ¡Ü1¡Á10(6)¦¸; at the same time, it has a high cold resistance level (no brittleness or cracking at low temperature of -30¡æ), high tensile strength (¡Ý12.0 MPa), and high elongation at break (¡Ý400%), which is particularly suitable for the Northeast and Northwest regions.
