Classification of rubber machinery

Rubber machinery is used to manufacture various rubber products such as tires, including three categories: general rubber machinery, tire machinery and other rubber product machinery.

General rubber machinery is a machine for preparing rubber or semi-finished products, including raw material processing machinery, rubber mixers, extruders, calenders, curtain canvas pretreatment devices and cutting machines.

Rubber mixers are divided into two categories: open and closed. Open rubber mixers are mainly used for hot refining, sheeting, rubber breaking, plasticizing and mixing of rubber. Open rubber mixers have been used in production since 1826. Their structure is relatively simple and they are still widely used today. Closed rubber mixers are mainly used for plasticizing and mixing of rubber. They have one more mixing chamber than open rubber mixers.

Extruders are rubber machines used to extrude tire treads, inner tubes, hoses and various rubber profiles. They are also used to coat cable and wire products. The most common one is the screw extruder. When it is working, the rubber is stirred, mixed, plasticized and compacted in the barrel by the rotation of the extrusion screw, and then moves toward the head of the machine, and finally extrudes a product of a certain shape from the die.

The calender is mainly used for gluing or rubbing the cord canvas, laminating, laminating, pressing and embossing the rubber material. The first calender was made and used in production in 1857, and has been continuously improved since then.

Tire machinery includes tire forming machines, tire wire ring machines, tire shaping vulcanizers, bladder vulcanizers, flap vulcanizers, inner tube joint machines and inner tube vulcanizers, as well as bicycle tire machinery, tire retreading machinery and recycled rubber production machinery.
