Extruded nylon rods
Nylon 6 (white): This material has the most superior comprehensive properties, including mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, mechanical shock absorption and wear resistance. These properties, together with good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, make nylon 6 a "general-purpose" material for the manufacture of mechanical structural parts and maintainable parts.
Nylon 66 (cream): Compared with nylon 6, it has better mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance, and creep resistance, but its impact strength and mechanical shock absorption performance are reduced, making it very suitable for automatic lathe machining.
Nylon 4.6 (reddish brown): Compared with ordinary nylon, nylon 4.6 is characterized by strong rigidity retention, good creep resistance, and better resistance to heat aging over a wider temperature range. Therefore, nylon 4.6 is used in the "higher temperature area" (80-150 ¡æ) where nylon 6, nylon 66, POM and PET cannot meet the requirements in terms of stiffness, creep resistance, heat aging resistance, fatigue strength and wear resistance.
Nylon 66+GF30 (black): Compared with pure nylon 66, this nylon is reinforced with 30% glass fiber, and its heat resistance, strength, stiffness, creep resistance, dimensional stability, wear resistance and other properties are improved. Its maximum allowable use temperature is higher.
Nylon 66+MOS2 (gray black): This nylon is filled with molybdenum disulfide. Compared with nylon 66, its rigidity, hardness and dimensional stability are improved, but its impact strength is reduced. The grain formation effect of molybdenum disulfide improves the crystal structure, so that the material load-bearing and wear resistance are improved.
Casting nylon rod is also called MC nylon: English name Monomer casting nylon, Chinese name monomer casting nylon. "Plastic replaces steel, excellent performance", it has a wide range of uses. Cast Nylon Rod
MC Nylon (Ivory White): The properties of unmodified cast nylon 6 are very close to nylon 66. It has good comprehensive properties, high strength, toughness and hardness, creep resistance, wear resistance, heat aging resistance, good machining performance, etc.
MC901 (Blue): This modified nylon 6 has a striking blue color, higher toughness, better flexibility, and fatigue resistance than ordinary cast nylon, proving to be an ideal material for gears, racks and transmission gears.
PA6+ Oil (Green): This cast nylon 6 is truly self-lubricating nylon. It is specially developed for manufacturing parts that cannot be lubricated, have high loads and run at low speeds. It has greatly broadened the application range of nylon. It has a lower friction coefficient than ordinary nylon (can be reduced by 50%) and improved wear resistance (can be increased by 10 times).
PA6+ Molybdenum Disulfide (Gray-Black): Contains molybdenum disulfide powder, which can improve its load-bearing capacity and wear resistance without affecting the impact and fatigue resistance of unmodified cast nylon. It is widely used to manufacture gears, bearings, star wheels and sleeves.
PA6+ Solid Lubricant (Gray): It adopts a patented cast nylon 6 formula and contains solid lubricants. This material has self-lubrication, excellent friction, outstanding wear resistance and pressure-speed capability (5 times higher than ordinary cast nylon). It is particularly suitable for high-speed running and non-lubricated moving parts, and is a perfect supplement to oil-containing nylon.
