PVC conveyor belt is a kind of conveyor belt made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) rubber surface and polyester fiber cloth. Its working temperature is usually in the range of -10¡æ to +80¡æ. It adopts international standard tooth joint connection, has good lateral stability, and is suitable for conveying materials in a variety of complex environments.
The characteristics of PVC conveyor belt include good elasticity of the belt body and not easy to deform. High-strength cotton, nylon, and polyester canvas are used as the belt core, with a pollution-free cover made of pure natural rubber. The product formula is reasonably designed, meets hygiene standards, has moderate colors, is light and durable. PVC conveyor belt is suitable for the food industry or grain department to transport bulk, canned, and packaged grain or food. The maximum particle size can reach 400 mm and the maximum conveying capacity can reach 6000 cubic meters per hour.
PVC is actually a vinyl polymer, and its material properties are amorphous. In practical applications, PVC materials are usually added with stabilizers, lubricants, auxiliary processing agents, colorants, impact agents and other additives. PVC is non-flammable, high-strength, resistant to climate change and has excellent geometric stability. In addition, PVC also shows good resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids, although it may be corroded by concentrated oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, and is not suitable for use under conditions of contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
PVC conveyor belts have certain flame retardant properties, which are specifically manifested in that the surface temperature of the roller does not exceed 325¡ãC when the roller is rubbed, the average flame time of the full-thickness test piece when the blowtorch is burned does not exceed 3 seconds, and the average does not exceed 5 seconds after the covering layer is removed. The lossless length during propane combustion exceeds 250 mm, and the average value of the surface resistance value on both sides is less than 3.0¡Á10.

According to the product patterns, PVC conveyor belts can be divided into lawn patterns, fishbone patterns, diamond patterns, cross patterns, mesh patterns, inverted triangle patterns, horseshoe patterns, serrated patterns, small dot patterns, diamond patterns, snakeskin patterns, cloth patterns, large round table patterns, wave patterns, washboard patterns, straight lines, fine stripes, golf patterns, large square patterns, matte patterns, coarse texture patterns, plaid patterns and other styles.

The main factors affecting the service life of PVC conveyor belts include the tightly woven structure of the belt core, the special PVC impregnation process, and the special formula of the cover rubber, all of which make the belt body have excellent impact resistance, tear resistance and abrasion resistance.
